Hesston Golf Park is one of Kansas' most popular public golf courses.  Designed in 1975 by architect Frank Hummel, this 18-hole par 71 layout present a challenge to all levels of golfers. 

The Concept behind Hesston Park was to create a municipal golf course that everyone, from every skill level could play, but, more importantly, to make Hesston inexpensive enough that every income level could play as well.

Almost by accident, Hummel and the staff at Hesston Park created one of the best municipal golf experiences available in Kansas.  The installation of a state-of-the-art irrigation system in 2002 insures that the course will always be in pristine condition and the greens will always roll between 9 and 12.

Today, you can still play Hesston in around 3 hours, but that could be changing as word gets out that such a great course is available at such a low green fee.
